Finished - Craig Hood
The project is now handed in and complete!! Just a quick update on what has been done in the last couple of days. After the feedback from mondays presentation the information on the charms has being cut down and presented with larger text. The large images of the charms have been changed and replaced so that they are not stretched and look in the right proportions. I have also cut down the times on the right/wrong screens when they appear so they only flash up for 2 seconds. This meant i had to cut a couple of bits of audio so they fit the new timings. I have now also sorted out the patching of audio signals so that none of them overlap, pressing different buttons stops all other audio and plays the one needed, this was done before monday but a couple still had problems that are now sorted. I have also sorted out the reset function since mondays presentation. Some of the audio didn't reset to original state and didn't play before now they all reset and the games works as normal if repeated. Other little touch ups that i have done since the presentation are taking the highlighting off all the buttons, added the new Clarke information pages and added more information to guide the user through the installation, utilizing the large screen to display this. Now ready for the opening later today :D Sorted!

The End is nigh! - Craig Hood
Another update then. Since my last post i have put all the pages of the installation in B-patchers and used both the offset messages to move between pages and the scripting method (show/hide). when testing it in the research studio the patch still !! had problems but after some testing found out that the images were the problem. I converted all of the images what i was given into .Tiff files as opposed to Jpeg and it worked! Recorded more audio on friday with simon and the project is now all fine and working. Yesterday had long session in the research studio double checking all of the pages were fine on the two screens and got everything working, also addded an option for the user to see a larger image of the charm they are learning about after realising that the images we had on were quite small and you couldn't see the detail very well. Last touch ups today and final tests in the research studio tonight, all ready for the presentations tomorrow.

The Final Five: Simon Adams
This is the nearly completed image of the patients to be selected during the quiz section. If I had known how much time that the coloring and shading of the patients would have taken then I would have done something more simple but only a few more things to do for this picture and it will be done.

update - Craig Hood
Ok so just a quick update. After finding out that the patching i had done was a complete fail i have re-worked it and hopefully it will run fine. I have removed most of the loading for the images and just got them loaded into f-pic automatically now (without the need to loadbang it), i have started a new patcher and copied the majority of stuff over from the project that was having problems and just re-worked it so it is more organised and cpu friendly and also for all the things that are loaded on start up i have used rob's advice and cascaded them so that there is not too much happening at once, originally did this for some elements but was a bit daft and didn't do it for all of them. I have also used b-patcher for some elements to avoid too many seperate windows open at the same time.
Testing on Mac-mini tonight and hopefully will have joy this time. phew!
